We were honored to host Prof. Paolo Netti, Director of the CRIB – Interdepartmental Research Center on Biomaterials, University of Naples Federico II, and affiliated with the Centre for Advanced Biomaterials for Health Care at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), Naples, for an inspiring seminar titled:

“Innovations in Cell Mechanomodulation Chips: Bridging Mechanobiology and Technology”

Prof. Netti presented cutting-edge research on how mechanical cues—particularly those originating from nanoengineered materials—can modulate gene expression by altering 3D chromatin conformation and cytoskeletal forces. His work highlights the deep interconnection between mechanobiology and advanced bioengineering technologies, opening new avenues for therapeutic innovation.
