We are proud to announce that our team has secured funding for the SATURNO project from the Italian Space Agency. This project focuses on developing regenerative medicine strategies for future space missions by engineering four human tissue types—muscle, vascular, renal, and skin—using biofabrication techniques. The goal is to tackle challenges in 3D printing and tissue maturation in altered gravity environments, ensuring astronaut health during long-duration space missions.
