Short description:
BioPAD project aims to biofabricate and validate a 3D in-vitro model of atherosclerotic arteries that closely replicates the native vascular environment. By integrating realistic physiological and pathological features with controlled hemodynamic conditions, the platform will enable the study of endothelial cell inflammation and its relationship with blood flow patterns, providing new insights into the mechanisms driving atherosclerosis.
