Cardiovascular Biomechanics seminar at the I.I.S. “A. Maserati”, Voghera

We are pleased to announce that the seminar entitled “Cardiovascular Biomechanics: the Role of the Engineer in Cardiovascular System Research” was held on 20 January at the I.I.S. “A. Maserati” in Voghera, aimed at the institute’s students.
The seminar was delivered by Prof. Michele Conti, with the participation of engineer Martina Schembri, and represented an important opportunity for guidance and insight into engineering disciplines applied to medicine. During the event, the role of the bioengineer in cardiovascular research was explained, with particular focus on the innovative applications of biomechanics and bioprinting.
Throughout the seminar, ongoing research projects, concrete examples of engineering technologies applied in the biomedical field, and current scientific collaborations were presented, offering students a clear and stimulating overview of study and career opportunities in this sector.
The initiative generated great interest and engagement, confirming its value as an important opportunity for orientation and dialogue between the world of education and that of scientific and technological research.
