Our mission is to revolutionize the treatment of aneurysms with personalized endoprosthesis capable of promoting tissue regeneration in situ.
This ambitious goal will be achieved through a multidisciplinary research environment that fosters collaboration among bioengineers, biologists, and physicians.
From a methodological perspective, the lab will integrate numerical and experimental modeling.
The lab was established with the support of the ERC Consolidator Grant titled “Redesigning Aortic Endograft: Enabling In-Situ Personalized Aneurysm Healing” (Grant Agreement ID: 101125466), led by Principal Investigator Prof. Michele Conti at the University of Pavia.
